Linley Tech Data Center Conference - January 2011
 

The event focused on the processors, components, and interconnects for data center networking and servers. The Linley Group opened the conference with an overview of the market, technologies, equipment-design, and silicon trends for designers of data center equipment.

The program included talks and panel discussions covering a broad range of topics including the following: Power efficient server processors, cloud architecture, 100GbE for backplane and interconnects, security and hardware accelerators, 10GbE physical layer interconnect challenges, future directions in data center equipment design and 10G/40G Ethernet Switches.

Netronome’s Daniel Proch presented Scaling Network Security Solutions to 40Gbps and Beyond" on January 27 and Nabil Damouny presented, "Virtualized Security in Cloud Computing Environments" on January 28.
